Lebanon is navigating one of the most critical turning points in its modern history, a deep and multifaceted national crisis. In response, a diverse group of professionals, thinkers, and leaders united to establish the Lebanese Center for Strategic Planning.
Rooted in values of hope, equality, and shared responsibility, the Center brings together experts from across disciplines including economics, law, public administration, sociology, security, environmental studies, and both religious and civic leadership to shape a path forward.
We are committed to fostering dialogue, generating solutions, and promoting strategic reforms that can rebuild Lebanon on solid, sustainable foundations. Our work is guided by a simple but powerful vision: to help build a just, resilient, and unified nation.
Our Mission
The Lebanese Center for Strategic Planning exists to design a roadmap for national recovery and long-term renewal, a project that serves both present and future generations. Our mission is rooted in the urgent need for collective action to walk together and progress together toward a Third Choice: a unifying path forward grounded in shared responsibility, ethical leadership, and non-violent change. We aim to respond to Lebanon’s deep structural collapse by clearly defining a modern Citizen Profile and identifying our National Final Goals. Through a principled and inclusive approach, we are committed to building a strategic vision that places human dignity, justice, and moral responsibility at the heart of national transformation.
The mission of the Lebanese Center for Strategic Planning is to confront Lebanon’s structural collapse through peaceful, nonviolent, and ethical means.
We seek to revive the national spirit, restore trust in public life, and help rebuild a State rooted in Justice, Freedom, and Democracy, in full alignment with the principles set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The Center aims to promote a culture of human fraternity and interfaith dialogue, fostering mutual understanding among religions and cultures, while also supporting the spiritual and humanitarian dimensions of national renewal.
The Center also works to develop strategic policies that tackle poverty, marginalization, and social fragmentation, with a strong focus on promoting inclusivity, resilience, and long-term social cohesion.

Mission.
The Lebanese Centre for Strategic Planning is a non-profit organization
that aims to address the crisis in Lebanon through peaceful and
nonviolent means, by promoting a culture of human fraternity and
dialogue, supporting the spiritual and humanitarian dimension,
introducing the concept of inclusive citizenship, addressing issues such
as poverty, marginalization, and societal disintegration, and following
a strategic vision that is both scientific and practical.

History
Given that the collapse currently experienced by Lebanon has reached unprecedented dimensions, Doctor Wissam Maaluf, deeply convinced of the importance of the human being as an absolute fundamental value, conceived, after much reflection, the idea of establishing the Lebanese Center for Strategic Planning, with a view to expanding the confines of action so as to include the national, the social and the spiritual. Thus, starting from an essential intellectual and spiritual background considered to be both the crowning achievement and the continuation, in continuity, of a long charitable journey, the Lebanese Center for Strategic Planning aims to be an open living space actors of change within the framework of an overall strategic plan.
